Vicky Michaels
Founder and Creative Director
Vicky established Pulse Design Build in 2011 and has since worked on the Costa del Sol, the UK and Gibraltar. She has undertaken a wide variety of projects including luxury private villas, new developments, offices, shops, beauty salons, restaurants, gymnasiums, home cinemas and many more. Developing stylish, functional interiors, she enjoys working carefully with each client’s ideas to create stunning, affordable design solutions.
Marius Ivanov
Technical Construction Manager
Marius is a highly experienced building professional with a proven ability to lead project delivery teams to achieve successful outcomes, regardless of the complexity of the contract. Marius prides himself on developing and maintaining excellent relationships with his building team, sub-contractors, and suppliers. He has over 20 years of experience in the building industry, working in Turkey, the UK, Romania, and Spain. He also speaks Romanian, English, Spanish and Russian.
Susana Yedra
Interior Designer
Susana’s role other than design involves sourcing and researching manufacturers, materials, finishes and products for projects, ensuring they meet the appropriate technical standards and are available on time and on budget. Susana is originally from Bilbao and began her study of Interior design by moving to London and completing an interior design course whilst perfecting her English language skills. Following this she returned to Bilbao and completed a 4-year course in interior design at Escuela Leonardo da Vinci IADE.
Paul Michaels
Administrative Manager
Paul has had over 20 years’ experience as a property manager and investor in the UK and Spain before bringing his skills to Pulse. Paul runs and coordinates the day-to-day administrative duties of Pulse whilst keeping a close eye on the different Pulse projects, making sure all deadlines are met. Paul has a combination of customer service, and skills needed to work as a liaison between our preferred suppliers, our talented design team, and you, our valued clients.
Sergio Bernal Gomez
Technical architect.
Sergio’s role in Pulse is obtaining licenses for all our projects, liaising with the different town halls to make sure all proper permissions are obtained for your project. Sergio will also Conduct on-site observations and provide recommendations to help streamline ongoing design projects. He began his work in the industry in 2002 working on luxury builds in Malaga. Following this he had the opportunity to work in an architect’s office in Granada, giving him great insight and an early experience into this area of the industry. Receiving his qualifications, Sergio then went on to be a key part of many large reform projects in Gibraltar and Sotogrande, working freelance with different companies.

We are extremely proud of our construction team here at Pulse Design & Build. Every member of the team is unique and has their own skills and specialities whilst working very well together. They are extremely organised and get straight to work without any hassle or demand.
